Dramaturgical Philosophy

Dramaturgy is not limited to what is seen on stage. It includes the research, personal experiences, and archives that shape the work both on and off stage. Dramaturgy involves the effort to create narratives that appear coherent, even when they are constructed in nonlinear and unconventional ways. My dramaturgical practice is often guided by Black feminist and global liberationist theories.
